Edgar Allan Poe is one of my favorite authors. Here's a few of his works that I particularly enjoy.
| Title | Synopsis | My Two Cents |
|---|---|---|
| Annabel Lee | Man speaks of his lost bride. | This is the first poem I ever memorized without a mandate from an English teacher. |
| The Raven | Man talks to bird, bird talks back. | I love the phrase dirges of his Hope that melancholy burden bore. I try to work it into as many conversations possible. I don't have many friends left. |
| To One in Paradise | Not really sure... | ...but it sounds really cool when you read it aloud. |
| For Annie | Man tells why he is glad to be dead. | I've never been that fond of the smell of roses, either. |
| A Dream Within A Dream | Musing about the nature of existence. | Whenever I read this, I either laugh out loud or sink into depression, depending when I last ate. |
| The Pit And The Pendulum | Hmmm...'The Pit And The Pendulum', I wonder what this could be about? | There is no update today. |
